@gregmoore I 100% agree. If you want to build an email list - then make a damn landing page. If you want people to read your articles - then write good stuff and make it easy to read.

@terrygrier I had the same thought. It’s like I walked into a restaurant and, before I could even sit down, a pushy waiter tried to sell me on a regular home delivery. ”Dude, I haven’t even seen the menu.”

@alanralph You make a very good point about their analytics. Sadly, capturing an email address must be a more highly valued metric for them.

@gregmoore I despise sites that do this, it's the equivalent of spitting in the reader's face.
