@pimoore @SimonWoods Did you ever come across the thing by I think George Bernard Shaw about the word ghoti? — Pronounced fish as in, gh (rough), o (women), ti (nation).
@Miraz saw that in a book recently (maybe?) - it take some cherry-picking of English conventions to get fish out of that spelling.
@pimoore Just so you know, this line has been elevated into my ‘random quotes collection’. (It is already my DayONE quote entry for today). This means that it will at some point in the future be repurposed and pushed into the wild - correctly attributed - of course.
