@jsonbecker But what was the book? Who was the author? It sounds fascinating.
@devilgate I kind of want to avoid mentioning it because I truly can’t recommend it. Are you sure you want to know when like 22/25 people who love to read hated it, one loved it, and two felt medium to good about it? I have to warn you, I think an accurate review of it stated, “this is not a novel”
@jsonbecker Heh, thanks for all that. I may or may not check it out. I think I found it slightly frustrating to read about it but not know what it was.
Almost as if you were subtweeting the novel. Or reminiscent of the kind of Facebook post where the person just says, “Well that was annoying!”
@jsonbecker Thanks, I'll probably read it. I enjoy books like this. Read Knausgaard's My Struggle series (Skipped the Hitler stuff in the last volume).
@aloysius I have not read that, but one of the people who liked this book made that comparison! Also noting this book was not nearly at that level.
