@JohnPhilpin @devilgate That just sounds like they‘re asking for trouble... from their website: „Is that acceptable for the App Store? We hope so.“ I wouldn’t be surprised if Apple found some way of „interpreting“ their rules slightly different. On the other hand, they‘re not selling anything and they’re not providing the apps... Curious how this will turn out!

@hutaffe @johnphilpin @devilgate This example is from the Mac App Store, admittedly, but even Apple has resorted to a workaround for offering discounts. The Pro Apps Bundle for Education can only be bought directly from Apple. Then you get coupons redeemable for each app.
