Typically when we find spiders around the house, I am on duty. I like to catch and release them outside since they help control other bug populations. No biggie.

Last night, we had probably the biggest spider I’ve ever seen outside of a zoo. Total shivers.

I caught it after a little effort and then released it this afternoon after a timeout. Horrifying. It truly takes something unusual to freak me out, and this certainly fit the bill.

@incanus Spider - I only saw one ;)

We had a hatching (or whatever it’s called 😂) and I had a dozen or more baby spiders running around. Those were fun to catch and relocate outside :)

@incanus you call that a spider? Nah, mate. Now this: This is a spider!

A delightfully furry tarantula seen out on the trail. They do not jump up and bite you as you pass. That’s the rattlesnake’s job.

@incanus I’m so sorry that you have to burn everything down and relocate. I mean, you JUST built that sweet bench.

@incanus you need one of these bug catchers; great for catch and release.
