Bit tired this morning. Had a tyre blow out in the way home, and the AA finally got to me over four hours later.

Got home just after 2.30am.

Today’s job: find a mobile tyre fitter.

@adders Oh, man, that’s tough. I’ve used the AA’s, KwikFit’s and Halfords’ mobile tyre fitting services before and they’re all pretty good.

@adders I’m guessing yours one of the many modern cars that’s no longer outfitted with a spare tyre.

@adders.blog Spot on. Although, there is space for a “space saver” spare, so I might invest in a month or two.

@adders Glad my car has a spare, because the pothole ridden roads around here have led to two very inconvenient blowouts in under two years. One happened an hour before we were about to go away on holiday. Also glad I took wheel and tyre insurance, which has already paid for itself - plus some.

@adders That space saver would be a good investment. One of my previous cars had neither spare nor space saver, merely a can of emergency tyre-repair foam. It reminded me of my motorcycle days - because that’s also all you have when on two wheels.

@adders.blog Yup. Once a client or two pay, I’ll buy one. I just have the foam right now.
