My local polling station was deserted when I went to vote around 11am.
@david Is it a public holiday? They should make polling days a public holiday to remind people they have something very important to do.
@matt it's not a public holiday, which may explain why no one was there! Although I suspect there may be a low turnout, in any case.
If it was a public holiday all those public servants personning the polling stations and counting marquees would want the day off work!
