🎬 There’s a movie out there just released called the 🔗 Sound of Freedom

Good reviews on IMDB … serious subject … but it seems to this observer that it is being artificially promoted. I’ve also had some back chatter that all is not what it seems.

Any thoughts from those that read this post?

This movie is approaching 100 million dollars at the box office.

Look it up and you will find article after article talking about the dark side of what is going on and very little talking positively about it - other than things like reviews say at IMDB where it has an '8.1'.

To me there seems to be a clear campaign to hype it. For example 'free tickets' - to which I am bound to ask - do those free tickets get paid for by someone - and therefore contribute to that 100 million or are there even more people watching it?

All I do know is that though the MicroBlog stream I often see popular movies being promoted and discussed and shared. But (other than a single uncommented post from someone - sorry - can't recall who) - there has been zero scuttle.

Anyone have any ideas?

@darby3 didn’t know that but yes it’s that kind of thing … musk offering free Twitter promotion - and when you raise this as a problem - I have in live conversation - the response is along the lines of ‘don’t you want to stop this henious crime?

Have to say the promo of things like this - add in the ‘push’ for RFK … is not good … but sadly very clever by the authoritarian party.

🔗Sound of Freedom passed the $100m mark. Who’s really watching the movie?

Caviezel, who appeared at the screening, subsequently told Fox News that Trump was “the new Moses”, and must be re-elected.

Just for kicks I am going to put my head in there this evening.

For perspective - this is more 'sold' seats than Oppenheimer at the same theater, same time.
