📺 Wednesday started off strong but quickly devolved into 90210 with a high body count: enjoyable, but not quite living up to the atmosphere of the first episode. It was still worth sticking it out until the end to see Fred Armisen’s Uncle Fester.

@miljko We’re still 3 episodes behind. Last one we watched was that where Gomez and Mortitia come for the family weekend. Liking it so far, although for me, personally, the first episode was the best, indeed. But I love the Addams, and Wednesday, the way she’s portrayed, is a hit in itself…

@danielsantos The episode jut before M&G’s visit (the dance) was the low point for us. Too much questionable character motivation and stilted dialogue. Still, we enjoyed the series, and the last episode was almost as good as the first (better in some respects)!

@miljko I agree with you on the low point. That’s when the series most resembled BH90210… but it improved and now we’re anxious for more. All the cliffhangers are there and I read last night the number of watched hours for the series is over 720,000,000 worldwide, so it should be a no-brainer for Netflix to renew it. So we hope.

@danielsantos How Netflix decides on what to renew is an eternal mystery. Still, we are very much looking forward to Season 2! (our eldest howled in frustration at the cliffhanger)

@miljko I’ve been there with many TV shows. It’s so frustrating when one gets cancelled without notice. But we live in a crazy world where anything could weight in on renewing a title or not, specially if it involves finances. Let’s hope Wednesday toasts us with a second season soon, for the sake of your eldest and my whole family 😉🙏
