📱 I’ve settled on Castro for my podcast needs. Glad it’s back. Seems to be smoother and not acting up as it was, and I missed the playfulness. Overcast is a mess these days. @maique I’ve switched back to Pocketcasts, but Castro is always there looking very tempting. It’s great that they have new owners and I hope they’re able to look after it now, and find some success from it.

Overcast’s latest foolishness has me looking for a player that just takes an OMPL feed off the internet that I can host somewhere since I’m no longer that tied into Apples ecosystem on the desktop—any ideas?

@starrwulfe @maique Nah, the rewrite was very needed for the app. But I agree that I like it less now than I did before the rewrite!

However, I think this will make the app better in 2025 than it would’ve been without the rewrite, if you know what I mean.
