🖋️NEW PEN DAY: Got this TWSBI Mini AL Grape in a Medium nib from Van Ness Pens. This is my first TWSBI Mini. What should I ink it with?
@dustdaughter Congrats! 🎉 I was eyeing that one, myself, due to my love of purple and the TWSBI Minis. Do you have Diamine Imperial Purple or TWSBI Royal Purple?
@cygnoir I think I may have a sample of Imperial Purple in my stash. Also have Robert Oster Sydney Lavender, Iroshizuku Murasaki- Shikibu, and Sailor Manyo Nekoyanagi (finally got a bottle).
@dustdaughter Well, the Sydney Lavender is my new obsession, so I’d definitely give that a go in your new pen. And the Nekoyanagi, but it might not show the shading as well in a Medium nib; I usually have it in a 0.8mm stub.
@dustdaughter Not sure if you have it, but Wearingeul Great Gatsby is my current favorite purple ink. I picked it up at the ATL Pen Show last month, and absolutely love it.
