Iโ€™ve been waiting patiently to get my hands on Troublemaker Inks. ๐Ÿ–‹ Totally worth the wait. Here are quick tests of Petrichor, Kelp Tea, and Autumn Rain Gray.

@pimoore It is gorgeous, so lavishly sparkly. I wasnโ€™t able to capture that with my quick pic.

@cygnoir Ooh, very nice! What was it like writing with these inks? Are they wet or dry or somewhere in between?

@dustdaughter Let me try not to talk your ear off about this very thing. ๐Ÿ˜‚ So the Petrichor and Kelp Tea are both fairly dry on most papers. On Tomoe River paper they act a little juicier, which is pretty normal, but the depth of shading is worth it.

@dustdaughter The Autumn Rain Gray is a sparkling ink so I expected a wetter ink off the top, but it is surprisingly dry and dries very quickly with very little sparkle transfer. Amazing properties.

@sgtstretch I discovered how differently Kelp Tea shades based on paper quality, and itโ€™s even more intriguing to me now!

@dustdaughter I agree! What is one of your favorite inks right now? Mine is (and has been for years) Pilot Iroshizuku Ku-Jaku.

@amit Iโ€™m looking forward to using it on winter solstice cards. It has a frosty feel to it!

@cygnoir Pilot Iroshizuku inks are SO good! I have a bottle of Fuyu-Syogun and wish I could afford to get the whole set.

@cygnoir The last time I got to splurge on stationery, I bought a bunch of Ferris Wheel Press inks. Their colors just cheer me up. Of those, I think my favorite inks are Lady Rose, Buttered Popcorn, and Mirror Mirror of Moraine.

@dustdaughter ๐Ÿ˜ Fuyu-Syogun looks gorgeous! Those Ferris Wheel Press inks look lovely too. Someday I will try those. Grape Ice Pop looks like a purple I would love (a deep auburgine).
