Hey guys, I’m looking for an app that can browser folders containing photos. This app would display photo’s metadata too and allow for adjusting the thumbnails size. Any recommendations for me? I’m looking for an alternative to Adobe Bridge. Thanks.

@numericcitizen it is for Windows - Back when I was torturing myself with all those BSODs. Hahah
@numericcitizen Sorry about that! I’m still using a very old version, that does everything I need it to do. Had no idea they were asking for that kind of yearly subscription money 😅😅😅
@numericcitizen I have mixed experiences here with xnviewmp (www.xnview.com/de/xnview... - it's multiplatform and should work on Mac too). Maybe at least worth a closer look.
@numericcitizen I've used the ApolloOne image viewer for this sort of thing. But only the free version - it also has two subscription tiers and reasonable perpetual licenses, plus a free 14 day Pro trial. I've not needed it enough to buy the full version 🤷♂️
@numericcitizen @ian I've been pretty happy with ApolloOne as a Photo Mechanic replacement, fwiw.
@numericcitizen Finder with “as Gallery” mode does basic photo browse with metadata on the right.
I wrote a quick Automator for “resize image to 96px” — it shows up on Quick Actions along with built ins like rotate left, remove background.
Maybe could add “resize thumbnail?”
@numericcitizen Hi..if you want to do this on a windows machine, I have used ThumbsPlus by cerious (cerious.com) for years. It does everything you are asking. I esp love that it works directly with folders and doesn't create a catalog.
