@crossingthethreshold truth in that … hard to see those pictures and reconcile with only 6 dead and a few thousand checking in to the shelters … bracing myself. Looks like your side of the island is safe … but now moving people out of North Kihei and Pukalani looks a little to close for comfort.

@JohnPhilpin I think that it is still early days and many questions to be answered. I am off island for a week, back on Sunday, but it sounds from being in touch with people back home that the winds that fanned those fires have died down. I believe that Pukalani is safe right now. Not clear on everywhere in Kula, apart from utilities being out in many places.
