I’m working to make it so I get news in a more intentioned manner. I’m over the non stop feed of way more than I need to know. Deleting news apps.

The old ways was you either picked up a newspaper (or spotted a headline walking by a news rack) or turned on a news program.

@hawaiiboy round-the-clock news has done as much harm, i think, as social media. and that's saying something.

@JMaxB I agree. I feel like one good thing for me is that I manage a restaurant, so for many hours a week, I’m focused on people - customers, my team and vendors.

@hawaiiboy I miss the “old way.” I’ve removed all news apps. I subscribe to Axios morning newsletter and read Heather Cox Richardson’s newsletter in the evening. That’s my daily news intake…unless my wife shares something with me.

@crossingthethreshold That's close to where I'm going. I get Morning Brew in the morning.

@hawaiiboy I just took a look at Morning Brew and might swap over. I like their content and presentation.
