@crossingthethreshold I just started reading Underland a few days ago - loving it so far. I was scrolling the timeline and thought, hmm, that reminds me of the Underland cover 🤣. Is it a tie in of some kind?
@crossingthethreshold I found the book to be fantastic mix of science, history and storytelling. I hadn’t heard of it before I bought the Field Notes.
@wldunbar I also had not heard of Robert MacFarlane until the Field Notes notebook...or at least I didn't think that I had. I have a copy of The Lost Spells, a collaboration that he did with Jackie Morris. 🤦♂️ I shall be looking up more of his work, icluding Underland.
@bsag Yes it is a tie in with Field Notes. The only book that I have read of Macfarlane's is his collaboration with Jackie Morris, The Lost Spells. I think that I will be looking up more.
@crossingthethreshold Nice! I don’t read a lot of non-fiction books outside of work (I prefer the escapism of fiction), but ‘Underland’ is pretty special.
