@colinwalker I've also been thinking a lot about the discoverability issue you note at the end of your post. What do you think of reviving web rings? Could webmentions be used to automatically create networks of connected sites?

@eli (Trying again) I don't think web rings, at least how they used to exist, are the way to approach it on the modern web. Webmentions (especially likes and replies) is definitely a way forward (as I was inferring) and a means to create those organic links between sites.

@colinwalker It would be interesting to see a way of using webmentions to and fro to reconstitute the ideas of blogrolls and web rings. First, though, I need to get webmentions working properly on my Grav site. @eli
