Maybe it is just me, certainly not unknown !!!
Is anyone else seeing WP 5.3 acting a little flaky under Safari?
@JohnPhilpin Not just you, and not just on Safari! I’ve been having all sorts of visual and interaction oddities with the admin area since I updated, and I’m using Firefox.
@colinwalker example when I add an image - in blocks - I click to add a caption and it disappears - you can find it by scrolling down and the input box is layered over other copy.
Don’t have that on Firefox
@Mrkapowski not see problems in Firefox - but I only go there when I hit safari issues - which seem to be fixed under firefix
@JohnPhilpin Ah, well I still use the classic editor and have the visual view disabled as I only post in Markdown. It's actually pretty rare that I'll actually post anything via wp-admin as well as I tend to do everything on my phone.
@JohnPhilpin I suspect on my end it’s some sort of caching causing the issue, although it’s quite intermittent. Sometimes the editor JS/CSS just don’t seem to load, so stuff breaks and I have to save and hard reload the screen.
