I'm making a concerted effort to use the Mac more when at home rather than the phone. As I don't post/like posting via the WordPress admin UI, this means I either have to move items to Drafts before posting or look at building some kind of simplified web interface for the REST API (like... colinwalker.blog

@colinwalker a Mac versions of Drafts would be awesome for so many reasons.

@colinwalker WordPress uses xmlrpc, and there's an xmlrpc command in AppleScript, I think it'd be easy to glue up "post this BBEdit/whatever document to WordPress".

@colinwalker I've got an appleScript that I run via Alfred. posts the selected text from the from application to micro.blog Here gist.github.com/troutcolo... Might not do all you want/need but a start perhaps.

@johnjohnston I remember you saying about that before. @mdhughes interesting- maybe some combination of the two 🤔 I’ve got my PHP form working via the REST API but I may look into AppleScript as an option. Thanks guys.
