Oh wow! Didn‘t quite get to catch up on Micro.blog the last couple of days… it‘s getting busy around here! Great to see so many people try this path and turning their backs on Twitter.

@hutaffe the real question is when will this become the next Twitter?

@JeffPerry @hutaffe There’s always a tipping point but, hopefully, the way micro.blog is being built with a focus on community with help stave it off or lessen the impact.

@colinwalker true. I’m hoping this works out for my social media needs. Im not missing Twitter at all but it was where I kept tabs on the news I cared for so I have to figure that out still.

@adiabatic see I am one of those bloggers. I need to stay on top of iOS and iPad news for my blog Tablet Habit.

@colinwalker @JeffPerry I doubt it will become the new Twitter... it‘s so different. It would be better of course but I don‘t see everyone switching. Also, the tone around here is much better for various reasons. Let’s hope this won’t change with many more people joining 😊

@hutaffe @JeffPerry To be honest I hope it doesn’t become the new Twitter. Besides, it’s a different animal and the approach is different - it’s not strictly a social network.
