Hi everyone, looking for some 📚 recommendations! My dad is going in for an operation tomorrow and will be at least overnight in hospital. I’m a bit nervous about it all and so to distract myself (and him of course!) I want to get him something for his kindle if he does feel up to readin... discombobulated.micro.blog

In the end I had to get him a gift card (boo) because I couldn’t be sure if his kindle was registered to Amazon.com or .com.au (and you can only redeem a gift of an actual book at .com)... he seemed happy though.

@herself I was given a gift voucher for Amazon.com a few weeks back and have finally bought enough ebooks to use it up. Didn't have to buy a physical book at all…

@Miraz sorry, reading back what I wrote, I phrased it wrong. I meant to say you can only give and receive a “kindle book” as a present (rather than a gift card) at the .com site. But he’s happy enough with the gift card, so I didn’t need to worry.
