@tinyroofnail Funny how y’all have hard maples and soft pines and we have hard pines and soft maples. I feel there must be a climatic reason for that but I have no idea what it would be.

@dwalbert It’s funny, I was just reading a line the other day exactly to that effect.: “…and that’s ignoring the cherry and apple trees and a number of other hardwoods (but not necessarily deciduous trees)…” Twice in one week; not sure I’ve ever thought about that before.
