@amerpie Honestly, I gave up remembering specific days sometime between the Beltway Sniper and the invasion of Iraq.
@amerpie Aye, the "interesting times" curse really sucks. On the other hand, today I feel hopeful, energized, and a little poorer (donations increased.)
@markstoneman LOL - the Beltway Sniper, I just remember the era and the terror as my Dad was living suburban DC at the time. I remember both Iraq invasions like they were yesterday though, especially the second one. Crock of shit then. Crock of shit now.
@amerpie My son was in a DC public elementary school at the time, and schools appeared to be the sniper's favored hunting ground.
