@cliffordbeshers No problem. I like Greta Gerwig better as actress than director. Frances Ha is one I return to, for her performance and the b&w cinematography.
@JMaxB It's the seeming disparity of genre that caught my eye. I expect I'll find more continuity as I think about it, but it seemed like a shotgun blast at first. To my surprise, I'm looking forward to seeing Barbie after watching the trailer.
@cliffordbeshers Yeah, calling something "a Greta Gerwig movie" (as director) doesn't seem to communicate much about style or themes.
