@cliffordbeshers Mule story: My former church was founded by Appalachian coal miners, so I heard a lot of old-time lore. The mine cars used to be pulled (on tracks) by mules, and it was hard to find mules who were willing to go into dark underground tunnels (because they're intelligent animals), so mineworker mules were precious. Supposedly when there was a mine collapse, the boss's first question would be "Are the mules OK?"

@cliffordbeshers I do appreciate mules… maybe because I am not personaly in a position to criticize them for being stubborn. I have this dream of trading my pickup truck for a couple of mules and a wagon.
