@cliffordbeshers π€© Such a beautiful sight it must have been! Love the one behind the mountain. π
@Miraz Yeah, that reversal is disorienting. I remember being very puzzled about shadows moving the wrong way, though I don't remember the specifics at the moment. I told this to a bunch of scientists when I got back and they all went, "Hunh!". Spherical geometry is tricky.
@cliffordbeshers They capture it perfectly. Sharpness can be so overrated, right? I'll take mood over sharpness every day.
@cliffordbeshers π€£ π€£ π€£ π€£ Most of my clients these days would not go for it, truth be told. They're not really into mood... π
@AlanGMarz The feeling I actually had was frustration at not being able to rewind and go again. I didn't hear about this event until yesterday and didn't prepare much. And that moonset came faster than I expected. A little child in me wailed "Do it again!" Normally, the promise of a repeat the following month is enough. This eclipse, in the place, hitting the ridge at the peak of eclipse...I was too slow to realize how unique it was.
@Miraz Haha, until you mentioned it I didn't notice theirs was upside-down! π It makes sense but it somehow didn't occur to me. Whichever way up, though, I appreciate all the pictures @cliffordbeshers
@jayeless Good to hear. Thank you.
