I had a productive evening archiving photography projects. One photography project to be fair. But I’m trying to lay the groundwork for future projects. So lots of forward momentum even tho not much actually done. Feels good.

@aeryn anything you can share about your future photography projects? I’ve done three story telling photo projects in the past and am working on some new ones but always looking for ideas and inspiration.
@cliff538 hey 👋 Cliff. Well there’s nothing to report other than I’m taking photos a few times a week. And this is usually in a Photo Walk / photoblog format. That’s 99% of my photography. It’s pretty linear.
But I also want to curate my work into something less linear.
I went through a phase of mixing photography with digital art and I want to get back to that too.
My archives are a complete mess too so I have maybe thousands of photo walks to go through too. Many I have never looked at after transferring to my computer.
And then there’s all the family photos and personal memories photos too.
In my mind, going out to the shops and grabbing a few shots on my phone counts as a project. So it’s not as structured as it might sound. :)
Thanks for asking. I might have to turn this into a blog post
@aeryn I have the same issues! 😊 way too many photos to go through.
Great idea, doing a blog post about it may help you structure a plan. I’m still wandering and planning, I want to do some more photo stories but also trying to figure out how to get more photos on my website. I want to completely move away from commercial sites.
One of my favorite things to do is just going for a walk with the camera.
Good luck with the planning, I’ll be watching what you come up with!
