Now that Synology reversed course on their drive comparability restrictions, I’ve ordered a new NAS which arrived today. Going from an ancient five bay system to a brand new 8 bay.
@cleverdevil curious if you explored the UniFi options too? I have two old DS416+ that I need to replace.
@jthingelstad not really. I have about 54 TB of data on five 16 TB drives. Moving to another platform would be a big cost as I would have to have the same capacity available on the new NAS.
