I purchased some Zygo Solo headphones to use in the pool a few months ago, and they’re life changing. Late night podcast listening while floating in the water? 🧑‍🍳💋

@cleverdevil Cool! The transmitter looks a bit bulky though - may make me feel a bit self-conscious bringing it to a public pool 🙂 I wondered if there is headset that could pair to an Apple watch. Then you carry the transmitter on your wrist + workout stats 🤔

@cleverdevil Right… bluetooth range in water is just a few inches, so wearing the watch on the wrist is not feasible.

@todor the transmitter is a bit large, and for it to remain connected to the headset, you have to have it relatively nearby and above ground level. So, public pool may be a concern if you’re worried about someone taking it. That said, the transmitter is worthless without the headset, and a replacement is pretty cheap.

@todor indeed, Bluetooth is not an option, hence the solution with a Bluetooth connection from the phone to the transmitter and then FM radio from the transmitter to the headset.
