I’ve been inspired by Rachel Roddy this week. Some delicious results.

On Tuesday I cooked her recipe for broad bean, potato and fennel soup which provided two evening meals.

Then yesterday I made a Romanian apple and caraway loaf cake, her selection from Irina Georgescu’s book Tava.

@thedimpause The soup sounds unreal, and the loaf looks good! Caraway cake is pure nostalgia for our family.

@circustiger I love the taste of caraway, which is why I decided to make the cake. As a bonus both recipes were very straightforward 🙂
