Why they let a train through downtown Portland at rush hour is totally beyond my comprehension.
@cheesemaker Happens all the time, especially on Naito. As I understand it, freight trains get precedence over everything else under federal regs that go back to the old monopoly days. (Which is part of why Amtrak is so crappy.)
