Someone help me, I’m looking at iMacs! (I was looking at the Mac Mini, but I’m scared of breaking it doing the RAM upgrade and I’m not paying Apple prices for the RAM…)
@rosemaryorchard It looks like you may be able to buy your own ram and take the mini to an Apple Store or Authorized Service Provider for installation.
@rosemaryorchard I find the mini vs. iMac choice particularly difficult. iMac has a nice screen and easier-to-upgrade RAM, but it doesn’t have a T2 and is more noise/thermally challenged. On the other hand, you can’t buy a comparable screen for the mini anywhere.
