My son wants to teach himself how to code. He’s eleven. Any suggestions?
@christopherchelpka find some kind of project to make or create. web based work has a pretty fast payoff, I use scratch and some lite javascript with my 8 yr old girl to make things that are fun and engaging . Kano.me has some very cool things too.
@Jtomchak 👍🏼 I’ll check out Kano.me. And I found a site called Tynker, which he enjoyed playing around with today.
@christopherchelpka He’s about the right age to start with a Raspberry Pi! A lot of their materials are geared toward kids learning to code.
How about Glitch? He could easily remix projects and learn how they work by making small changes, then move up to writing his own stuff.
@jrladd Sweet! Thank you.
