Further to yesterday's post, more people have been extolling the virtues of blogging and how it is a means to connection. Kev says: "I've been lucky enough to make a number of friends off the back of this blog ... the interactions that come off the back of this blog are generally far deeper than those from social networks ... @colinwalker I'm friends in IRL with several people that I met in my (or their) blog comments back in peak blog before Facebook blew up. I'm friends with people I met on Twitter pre-2012 before it started down the enshittification path. I never stopped blogging, but it does feel like this is the first year in a long while that blogging is gaining momentum.
