I don’t think I’ll ever need to buy a notebook again. There was a sale in our area and I bought 23 Leuchtturms and 2 Moleskines. Does this qualify as an addiction? 🖋️

@chrisfoley At least you don’t have to do anything with them. I do things like that with books that require reading.
@ReaderJohn Yes, like an antilibrary, except with blank notebooks. At least I’ll have no reason to complain if paper quality goes down over the years.
@pimoore My thoughts exactly.
@Munish G-Shock? Check. Fountain pens? Check. Leuchtturms? Check. Ready for the apocalypse to begin. 💥
@Escribitionist Thanks! I got carried away aover the course of several weeks and multiple Winners/HomeSense/Marshalls locations. This was a sale at 1990s prices, and one that will never be seen again.
@chrisfoley Jaw dropping stack! I love Leuchtturms but have been buying off brands the last couple of years due to cost. Next time I’m getting the good stuff though.
@Escribitionist It was a once-in-ten-years sale that somebody noticed on the Canadian Fountain Pen Enthusiasts group on Facebook. I hopped in the car and…went a bit overboard.
@faithx5 I’ve always enjoyed Leuchtturms and found them worth the cost. It’s the combination of table of contents, paper quality (esp. for fountain pens), bookmarks, pouch at the back, and stickers for indexing that makes them really useful.
@pimoore @chrisfoley Agreed! I used to be a Moleskin apologist until I found Leuchtturm. I’ve made do with some cheaper versions, but they’re definitely cheaper for a reason!
@chrisfoley I’m very jealous of this stack! I’m a big fan of Leuchtturm notebooks. The paper quality is good for both fountain pen and roller ball and I use them as my everyday notebooks.
@pimoore I think this lot of books is from 2017-18 - the Whitelines edition dates from even earlier. Paper quality much better back then.
@faithx5 @pimoore Most of the Moleskines I’ve tried bleed through with anything thicker than a No. 2 pencil. Astonishingly, one of the Moleskines I picked up at the sale had excellent quality of paper, and holds up to all my fountain pens. I’ve heard rumors of these unicorn Moleskines in the wild but have never found one until now.
