Ta-Nehisi Coates’ Between the World and Me is the single most powerful book I’ve ever read. There’s a flow to the prose that’s just irresistible. It’s a beautiful, nearly poetic, read, but it isn’t easy, because there’s nothing about race in our country that’s easy. 📕
