I think I should go back to plain paper task tracking again, a la TaskPaper, but I wish there was an iOS client for that which worked like my brain did. Taskmator seems to make it unnecessarily complicated compared to, you know, editing text. Which is…supposed to be the point.

@AlanRalph I'm not doing GTD, just simple task lists, so TaskPaper worked for me in the past. I just discovered that Taskmator for iOS behaves really badly when it has the same file open on the iPad that TaskPaper has open on the Mac, though, so I may have to try something else after all.

@AlanRalph I moved off Editorial due to the concerns about abandonment. (I think there were some other nits I had to pick, mostly relating to not keeping up with iOS, too. It's been a while.) I've ended up on iA Writer after a long dalliance with Ulysses—which I still love, but its "not quite Markdown, not quite normal files" approach makes me uneasy.
