One thing I do like about the iPad, which you can only do with a true external keyboard: portrait mode is great for writing.
@chipotle remember when apple shipped a keyboard dock that worked with the original iPad only in portrait mode?
@duckrowing I do! Fortunately I didn’t buy it. :) (I’m using Twelve South’s “Compass,” which may be lower-tech but is a lot more flexible.)
@chipotle I had to stop traveling with one of those stands because it would always look like a weapon in the airport X-ray machine 🩻
