Okay, after a very short amount of time, I am leaning more toward taking the expensive keyboard back and resuming my “travel with external keyboard” ways. It’s not that the Magic Keyboard isn’t super impressive, but I just don’t think it’s right for me.

@chipotle I’ve been using A Mac keyboard with my iPads for years. What don’t you like about the Magic Keyboard?

@josephaleo I realized after I posted that I hadn't been clear, although I'll partially blame Apple's naming. :) There's the external Magic Keyboard they make primarily for Macs, and there's the "Magic Keyboard for iPad" with the built-in trackpad. It's the latter that I found a little too cramped in the 11-inch version, and I'll likely actually go back to just carrying around the former in the same bag when I travel.

@chipotle I’ve been using the Finitie keyboard case with my iPads for the last couple of years. Sadly, I don’t think they have a case for Apple’s newer keyboards.

@josephaleo Seems neat. I used to carry the Magic Keyboard around in an earlier version of Waterfield's Magic Keyboard Sleeve, and I'll probably go back to it.

@chipotle what I like about my case is that it also does double duty as a stand for my iPad.
