Sometimes I want to write more about “mid-fi” audio stuff, which I define thusly: both your audiophile and non-audiophile friends exclaim shock at how much your stereo costs, but for opposite reasons.
@chipotle I’ve got a potpourri-fi kind of lo-midfi and know only on really higher-fi person personally, and here we are talking special designed listening chair and special flooring and the whole shabang. Most my friends ar in low to mid-fi.
@odd I live in a rental apartment, so there are limits to how high-end I could get even if I wanted to. :) I've settled on some "entry level audiophile" type stuff for the living room and better than average desktop computer speakers for my office/bedroom combo.
