In 2019, my iPad Pro had completely supplanted my MacBook, and I spent more time on it then my iMac. In 2021, I’m evenly split between that iMac and an M1 MacBook Air and I have to remember to pick up the iPad to apply updates. This is not at all what I would have predicted.

@chipotle I picked up a MacBook Pro a few months back but I found that I do the bulk of my writing on my iPad.

@josephaleo I liked writing on my iPad, but didn’t like editing on it as much. It was actually a really bad experience with iOS screenplay writing software that first nudged me back toward the Mac, though.

@chipotle Agreed, editing on the iPad is less than stellar, I’m very thankful the text movement and selection shortcuts are available on iPadOS. Perhaps I would feel differently editing with the Pencil, but I won’t know until I upgrade my Air 2 to a new M1.
