How far is too far with home automation? Making a dumb tumble dryer smart is great though!
@rosemaryorchard Aha!!! I’ve often thought about hooking up a pi with a motion sensor to ours. Was never sure if it would be able to sense it well enough. What did you use to do this? Love it!
@rosemaryorchard how did you do this? I always forget to take my washing out the machine, this might help.
@philbowell I got an Aqara vibration sensor! I use the Home app to check when motion has stopped, and it runs.
@cheesemaker It’s actually a vibration sensor! This was just the first test, I need a few more weeks with it to be sure it works :D
