Packing, packing, packing… 📦 📦 📦

11th move in 4 years, 3 of which were international moves under pandemic conditions. We are getting good at this, but tbh I don’t want to do it anymore 😭

@chadkoh where are you headed and why all the moves? (it goes without saying, but feel free to answer only as much as you're comfortable with 🙂)

@val We took a while to do all the stuff that needs to get done: sold the apartment, filed final taxes, etc. We decided to wait out the school year which ends this week. So now we go back to Canada, to a suburb of Vancouver, to start the next chapter.

@val This time we hope it to be a long one. There is no family left for us in Japan. We would like to stay in one place for a good long while, see the kids off the uni… get a dog… stay still. My kids deserve some stability, and I’m nearing 50! Once they are out then I will be on my bike again! 😉

@chadkoh Wow. That is a lot to go through in the span of a few years. It's good that your family was able to be in the vicinity of your children's grandparents, even if not in the same room. Best wishes for your next (hopefully more stable!) phase
