Me pre-lockdown: Do we even need a printer at home any more?

Me in lockdown, and homeschooling: We need a better printer!

@adders we are in the same boat. YEARS without a printer. Now printer shopping.

@adders We too finally relented and ordered a printer. Rarely printed anything and if we had to, we could always print at work.

@adders Interesting. I've noticed that my wife and I are printing less during lockdown. My benchmark? I have not needed to go out and buy printer ink for over a month now. Even checking the ink levels, they have hardly moved. The next level of investigation is figuring out what is we find the need to print when the world is operating on full throttle?

@crossingthethreshold For us, it’s been the home schooling. (And, to be fair, some clubs that have found a way to continue online, like Brownies). Printing out activity and worksheets for them has been, I think, 100% of our printing.
