@alexsavin I love the composition of this image. What equipment do you use to digitise your photos after you have developed them? For that matter, how do you develop your film? I'm only a novice who has ever worked with DSLRs.

@harker Developing black and white film is easy - I’m using a Paterson tank and Ilfotec DDX developer from Ilford. Scanning with Epson V550 Perfection photo scanner. I also print occasionally at home to Ilford photo paper - however my enlarger is only good for 35mm film. Generally you can find a local darkroom (depending where you are) and a local community usually is quite helpful in showing the ropes. Also - lots of videos on this topic on YouTube- that’s where I learned most of it.

@alexsavin Nice scan. Do you happen to have an image you can share the file straight out of the V550 so I can see it? I'm looking to purchase a V600 soon and I'd love to see what the images look like right off the bed.

@cdevroe I’ve got JPEGs in original resolution on Flickr here: flickr.com/photos/23... - the only difference is basically you get tiffs out of scanner. This is 2400 dpi, which produces 70mb tiffs per still, but you could go much higher resolution wise for a properly huge scans.
