The photography on display across Micro.blog is fantastic. You can see a selection of it in the photo filter for Discover. ⭐

@simonwoods I'm still on the hunt for more photographers here. Slowly but surely I'm finding out where they are hiding!

@cdevroe @smokey I wonder if the flickr group is also a good source for this information? Have yet to take a good look at the group myself.

@cdevroe I've seen @smokey talk to Jackson about the group before now but can't remember how to get an invite.

@simonwoods @cdevroe Micro.blog @ Flickr~, just click the “Join Group” button and it will put you in Jackson’s approval queue, which he usually gets to within about 24 hours (timezones and all).

It has spurts of activity when people add new albums to Flickr (I think, more than most, there’s a bit of a mismatch between the ethos of Micro.blog—own your own photos on your domain—and Flickr, so that might be part of the reason why it’s not as active as other groups on Flickr).

@jmreekes I’m sure there are more folks here I follow who describe themselves as photographers, but those were three who had posted recently—so were fresh in my mind—and whose posts I usually do not see getting much interaction. // @cdevroe
