Fooled around with some still photography in the dining room today using only the Pixel 2 XL. Learned a bit.

@cdevroe Dang, that looks nice! Thoughts on the Pixel 2? I'm still limping along with an ancient Moto G 2 but I want something I can take nice pictures.

@mikehaynes @cdevroe @upvalue A third for Pixel 2 here. I haven't finished reading Colin's post yet but agree with what I have read so far. Coming from an iPhone it has been a real eye-opener to just how good a phone can be.

@cdevroe Nice review. Did you discover the Android equivalent of this yet?

Scroll to top – On any list in iOS (say, your contacts list) you can scroll to the top with a single tap on the status bar.

@roelio Thank you. No, sadly I have not.

@cdevroe @roelio I've done a quick look around and there is a belief that Apple has a patent on that. Considering the ridiculous patents they definitely have on scrolling UI as a whole, I wouldn't be surprised if that was true.

@simonmumbles Patents again? Well, that makes sense. But it's a pity...

@roelio I mean, it might not be and if it isn't then Google obviously needs to get their stuff together on this because it's one of the first bad impressions somebody switching over would get; I powered through but I don't think most people would.

@cdevroe Thanks for the great Pixel 2 review! Follow up question for yall @mikedotfm @simonwoods -- do you use the usb-c to headphone adapter at all? I love the sound quality on my cheap earbuds and would like to continue using them. Is it annoying to use the adapter?

@upvalue I have a few times, but almost always use something Bluetooth.

@upvalue I use the adapter and currently have a wishlist full of wireless headphones and earphones. I'm also looking forward to Google's October event to see if they're going to update the Pixel Buds.

@mikedotfm and? How do you manage that

@mikedotfm Lost in translation, as in I was probably trying too hard to be funny. I had this vision of you wearing your BeatsX and Pixel Buds ** at the same time**.

Humor is hard!
