@cliffordbeshers Ooooh, good idea. I've had several where by word 3 or 4 there are several choices for the missing letters and I've tried them one by one only to miss out.
@cliffordbeshers Yes. I think a corollary is to pick letters with the goal of solving the puzzle before the turns run out, not to solve it on the next turn. I'll occasionally try a word that I'm sure is wrong if it will give me a lot of new information.
@cliffordbeshers Interesting strategy. I never “fish” for letters with a throwaway guess. I play on “Hard Mode” (which I feel is easier).
@cliffordbeshers The reason I don't personally care for fishing for letters is because I consider my # of guesses to be my "score" in the game. I'm not out to just discover the word, I want to do so in the last amount of attempts. Perhaps I'm playing it wrong though.
