Developers: I hate apps that use Electron.

Also developers: Opens Slack, Discord, VS Code, Teams, Trello, Obsidian, 1Password, Spotify, WhatsApp at the same time.

@cdevroe Enough alternative apps to ignore what you disapprove of. I suggest to use those apps instead.

@renevanbelzen While I do not like the amount of resources Electron (and Chromium) take up... I have no personal objections to these apps on the merits of their underlying foundation. A good app is a good app.

I was simply making fun of us developers. :)

@cdevroe I do wonder how much say developers have around an app like 1Pass going to electron. I’d bet macOS developers would rather work in Apple native toolkits. Money pushes a lot of these decisions not the devs.
