The Avatar 2 trailer is dropping soon.
I remember enjoying the movie in the theater but I only saw it once and pretty much forgot about it ever since.
Is this a 🎥 that needs a sequel? Unless the reviews are amazing, I don’t see any reason to go see it.
@JoeCotellese Avatar 2 will be out 13 years after the first one, which is like waiting until 1990 for The Empire Strikes Back or Back to the Future 2 coming out in 1998
Then again, there were 18 years between Matrix 3 & 4. But there was a whole trilogy to build off of there.
@ccsont 🤯 I bought it on Blu-Ray years ago, and still haven’t got around to watching the first.

Also, even though Matrix 4 had a trilogy to lean on, it didn't really feel necessary. I didn't hate it but don't feel like it was necessary and I'll probably not rewatch it.
@JoeCotellese It’s funny, but Resurrections is my 2nd favorite in the series. I liked a lot of the ideas they played with, and it felt less heavy and overly-serious than 2 & 3.
Even so, it didn’t make me feel anything like the shock of seeing the first one in the theater.
